MICWITH
Privacy Policy
MicWith is a local audio tool. This page explains, plainly, the only two places data is involved: your audio, which stays on your Mac, and your licence key, which is checked with our payment provider.

Your audio never leaves your Mac
Microphone and system audio are mixed inside the app and written to a local audio device. Nothing is recorded to disk, uploaded, streamed or analysed by us. The test broadcast is held in memory only and is discarded when you stop it or quit.
We operate no account system
MicWith has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. We do not know who you are from using the app.
What the licence check sends
When you activate a key, MicWith sends the key, our organisation identifier and a label for the Mac, which is the computer name macOS already shows in Sharing settings. On later launches it sends the key and the activation identifier to confirm the licence is still valid. No audio, no device inventory and no usage statistics are sent.
Who receives it
Licence keys are issued and checked by Polar, which is also the merchant of record for the purchase. Their handling of your purchase and email address is governed by their own privacy policy. We see the order and licence records Polar shows us; we do not receive your payment details.
What is stored on your Mac
MicWith keeps your settings, your chosen microphone, your slider positions, your licence key and its activation identifier in the standard macOS preferences for the app. Removing the app removes them.
No analytics, no tracking
The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising or tracking code of any kind. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics either; it stores only your language choice in your browser.
Website hosting
This site is served by our hosting provider, which keeps ordinary server logs such as IP address, time and requested page for operating and securing the service. We do not use those logs to build profiles.
Microphone permission
macOS asks for microphone access before MicWith can hear you, and shows its recording indicator while it is in use. You can withdraw that permission at any time in System Settings; MicWith then cannot broadcast until you grant it again.

Questions about this policy, or a request about data held by us, can be sent to team@beyondend.dev. Requests concerning your purchase or payment are best sent to Polar, who hold that record.
